SERGEI POLUNIN
Having previously danced with distinguished companies in both London and Russia, Ukranian ballet dancer Sergei Polunin now performs around the world with leading ballet companies. Since his rise through the ranks of ballet (becoming a Principal Dancer at the age of 19), Sergei has sought to expand into the realm of acting and other creative endeavours. Sergeis story was made the subject of the documentary feature film “Dancer” produced by Gabrielle Tana and he made his on-screen debut in Kenneth Branagh’s Murder on the Orient Express in November 2017. Sergei has also recently launched Project Polunin, a company dedicated to supporting, nurturing and creating new work through collaborations between various artists. The programme premiered at Sadler’s Wells earlier this year.
