OSCAR FRAME
Born in London, England in 1997. Started professional ballet training at 14 years old at the Kirov academy of Ballet in Washington D.C. After graduating in 2015 under the class of Stanislav Issaev, I joined the Vaganova academy in St Petersburg, where I studied for a year and a half, joining the class of Nikolai Tsiskaridze, and graduating in 2017. I then joined the Bolshoi Theatre of Moscow, where I danced for four seasons, performing soloist and corps de ballet roles, taking part in many new productions, and also touring around Europe. After leaving the Bolshoi at the end of the 2020 season, I took a year out from ballet at home in England during the pandemic, after which, at the end of 2021, I made it back to Russia to join the Astrakhan Ballet as a soloist, where I danced until the end of March 2022. Due to the current politic climate, I then decided to leave Russia and am now working as a soloist with the Georgian State Ballet in Tbilisi. Next season (autumn 2023) I will join Béjart Ballet Lausanne.
At Origen I danced in «BA//CH» (2022) and «No Words» (2023) by Ilia Jivoy.
