NICOLE WARD
Nicole Ward was born in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia and at the age of 8 her family moved to Vancouver, Canada. At Arts Umbrella, she completed her professional training under the direction of Artemis Gordon. She furthered her dance training during intensives at chuthis, Art Umbrella SDI, San Fransisco Conservatory. In 2015 she received her Dance Diploma and began dancing as an apprentice with Ballet BC, becoming a full-time company member the following 2016 season. Throughout her time with the company, she was fortunate to perform works by world renowned artists such as Crystal Pite, Sharon Eyal, Ohad Naharin, Medhi Walerski, Aszure Barton, Emily Molnar, William Forsythe, and many others. Upon leaving in 2020, Nicole joined Nederlands Dans Theater I in August 2020.
At Origen she danced in «Venom» (2022) and «Aeon» (2023) by Luca Andrea Tessarini.
