MARIA GANZARAIN PINA
Multidisciplinary artist original from La Rioja (Spain) graduated in Fine Arts by UCM (Madrid) and trained in performing arts, mainly in contemporary dance. In 2017 she worked in the art department of the short film Contrapeso by the choreographer and filmmaker Kati Kallio. In 2018 she was part of the CER / Creators in Residence Program of the Dance Center of Zaragoza together with the artist Yeinner Chicas, with whom she often works as a collective. In 2019/20 she was part of the young company «Fre3 Bodies / Creation and Performance», directed by Nicolas Richinni and Nadine Gerspacher. At the same time, she is part of «Towards Vivencia», a project by choreographer Jorge Crecis. She has been part of research and creation laboratories with Lucía Marote, Babirusa Danza, VAYA Movement or Lôkke Olatz de Andrés. She has also worked in collaborations as a performer with Kònic Thtr, Ingrid Magrinyà, Cía Esa Gente, Jorge Albuerne or Artistas Inflamables. She is currently one of the resident artists in the Choreographic Center of La Rioja and its support program to research and creation.
At Origen she danced in «My Land» by Alena Tarasova in the summer 2022 in Riom Castle.
