ILIA SARKISOV
Ilia Sarkisov was born in Moscow and trained in Israel. At the age of 16 he moved to Munich to study at the Ballet Academy/Heinz-Bosl-Stiftung. He joined the Bavarian State Ballet in the season 2004/2005 as a Trainee receiving the Bavarian State Award for promising talent in the Performing Arts. 2005/2006 he became a member Corps de ballet, 2011/2012 was promoted to Demi-soloist and 2014/2015 was promoted again to Soloist. Since 2016 he has been working as a freelance dancer and has guested with the Bavarian State Opera in The Little Prince (M. Mohamed). Roles danced include: The Golden Idol in La Bayadère (M. Petipa/P. Bart), Fritz in The Nutcracker (J. Neumeier), Alain in La Fille mal gardée (F. Ashton) and Für die Kinder von gestern, heute und morgen (P. Bausch).
