ERICA D'AMICO
Born in Sicily, Erica D’Amica completed her dance education at the Accademia Nazionale di Danza in Rome and Iwanson Intenational School of Contemporary Dance in Munich. Erica works as a freelance dancer and choreographer in Germany, recently working with the choreographers Anna Konjetzky in «We are Here», Cristina D’Alberto in «ARCADIA: eine Erforschung von Idylle und Beton», Johanna Richter in «fear.less» and Giovanni Insaudo and Roberta Pisu in «x2 GETANZT». She has also performed in the opera «Carmen» with the Bayerische Staatsoper and «Lucia di Lammermoor» at the Hamburgische Staatsoper choreographed by Dustin Klein. Her own choreographies «Second Daughter» (2019), «When Mirroring» (2021), «Kindly Restricted» (2021) and «Talking Wolves» (2022) premiered at the HIER=JETZT Festival in Munich.
At the Origen Festival she danced in «Sense of Place» (2022) by Dustin Klein.
