CHARLIE SKUY
Charlie Skuy is a choreographer and artist living in the Netherlands. Originally from Canada, Charlie joined the Nederlands Dans Theater in 2018 and since then has created numerous choreographies for the company's platform and his own independent projects. Charlie's passion for filmmaking and dance theater opens more worlds in which he creates work that holds his love for surrealism and «dreamlogic». His work has earned him awards such as the Copenhagen International Choreography Competition, Rotterdam International Duet Choreography Competition, the Conny Janssen Danst prize, Cinedans 2020, and Cinedans 2023 (film, choreography).
«Nihil, Nihil, Hill» (2023) is his first full-length work for Origen's stages; as a dancer he was seen in «Chaos» by Luca-Andrea Tessarini in the Juliertheater in 2021.
