Allison McGuire was born in Chicago, USA. She began her professional career at Visceral Dance Chicago as a 2017 apprentice. During this time, she was awarded Modern Dance Finalist at YoungArts Miami. She received a BFA from The Juilliard School, there she performed works by José Limón, Alejandro Cerrudo, Jacopo Godani and new creations by Ohad Naharin, Bryan Arias, Nelly van Bommel, and Andrea Miller. During the pandemic, Allison was commissioned to work for ISHIDA Dance Company based in Austin, Texas. In 2021 she was engaged as a soloist with Ballet of Difference at Schauspiel Köln. Allison has been dancing with the Dresden Frankfurt Dance Company for the past two seasons. In August of 2023, she will be joining Opera Ballet Vlaanderen.
