YANNICK BITTENCOURT
Born in Bern in 1988, Yannick Bittencourt passed his education at the AS Ballet School in Switzerland, the école de danse de l'Opéra de Paris and later the Royal Ballet School of London. In 2007 he joined the America Ballett Theatre Studio Company and the Paris Opera Ballet, where he danced many notable roles such as Prince Siegfried in «Swan Lake» (Noureev), James in «La Sylphide» (Pierre Lacotte), Daphnis in «Daphnis et Chloé» (Benjamin Millepied), Benvolio, Paris in «Romeo and Juliet» (Noureev) and Theseus in a «Midsummer Night’s Dream». For the season 2018/19 he was invited as a soloist from the Ballett Zürich, where he danced in Patrice Bart’s «Giselle», «Bella Figura» by Jiří Kylián, Marco Gecko’s «Nijinsky» and several choreographies by Christian Spuck.
At the Origen Festival Cultural he danced in Sébastien Bertaud's pieces «Utopia» (2019) and «La Dame à la Licorne» (2020).
