studied light design at the Parsons School in New York. He subsequently worked as a light designer and specialist planner at DELUX THEATRE LIGHTING. In 2002 Serge Schmuki founded the company tokyoblue GmbH, media technology planning, which is a succsesful company to date. In 2007 he trained to become a stage and lighting master at the BFI Vienna.
