The teacher and tourism specialist grew up in Ebnat-Kappel/SG as the son of Grisonian parents. After attending the teacher seminar in Wattwil and teaching at the town school in Ilanz, he graduated from the Higher College for Tourism in Samedan. Between 1998 and 2008 he built up the marketing and communications department for the region of Grisons at PostAuto, cooperating with other transport companies, tourism organisations, universities and institutions in the cultural and humanitarian fields. From 2009 to 2013, he served as operations director at Origen and laid the organisational foundation for the emerging cultural institution. He returns to PostAuto for five more years and is responsible for the areas of education/further training and quality in the region of Grisons. In 2019 and 2020, he takes over the general management of graubündenVIVA – a location promotion project – before rejoining Origen in March 2021 as Head of Organisation and Development.
