Luigi Sardone was born in Altamura (Italy) in 1994 and started his studies in Classical / Contemporary Dance at the age of 6. In 2011 he moved to Rotterdam (The Netherlands) where he attended «Codarts, University for the Arts», obtaining a Dance Degree. After that, he joined «Scapino Ballet Rotterdam» (The Netherlands), a Dance company directed by Ed Wubbe. He there worked with and performed creations by Marco Goecke, Itamar Serussi Sahar, Felix Landerer and Ed Wubbe.

In 2015, Luigi decided to move into the freelance scene, joining «Landerer & Company» in Hannover, headed by Felix Landerer. While there, he danced creations of Felix Landerer, Simone Deriu, Jessica Van Ruschen and Menghan Lou. From 2018 onwards, while continuing collaborating with «Landerer & Company», he also took part in creations from «ConTrust Collective Dresden», «Yotam Peled» (Berlin) and «18 MONKEYS DANCE THEATER» by Jitti Chompee (Bangkok).

After being a member, for a couple of seasons, of the company «TanzRaum Nord – Of Curious Nature» in Bremen/Hannover (company directed by Felix Landerer/Helge Letonja), in 2022 he returns to «Landerer & Company», and as a permanent member he performs creations by Fabio Liberti, Dimo Milev and Felix Landerer among others.

Over the last years, Luigi has also juxtapose to the dancing career, teaching, with workshops / repertoire workshop – company classes / profitraining for different realities/companies in Germany and abroad.
