received piano amd double bass lessons as a child and developed a passion for improvisation and composing. He was a part of various ensembles, such as the Bundesjugendorchester. He studied double bass and composition at the University for Music «Hans Eisler» in Berlin and at the University of Music and Theatre in Munich between 1997 and 2003. After a year abroad at the Royal College of Music in London he returned to Berlin in 2004. Lorenz Dangel composed music for several dance and open air projects, such as the opera «David» for the Origen Festival Cultural.
