The mezzo-soprano Lisa Lüthi was born and raised in Beromünster and lives in Basel. She studied vocals at the Conservatory Basel with Verena Schweizer and Marcel Boone, as well as at the Zurich University of Arts with Werner Güra. Since then she continued her studies through private lessons with Ana Maria Labin and Roswitha Müller. Apart from her diverse soloist activities she is working as a vocal coach and part of the vocal ensemble larynx and the all-female Quartet famm.
