JUSSI MYLLYS
Jussi Myllys studied in Helsinki and had his debut in 2005 as Don Ottavio (Don Giovanni) at the Komische Oper Berlin. He was an ensemble member at the opera Frankfurt from 2006 to 2009. There he sung parts like Belfiore (La dinta giardiniera), Don Ottavio and Rinccio (Gianni Schicchi). He had guest performances as Tamino (Die Zauberflöte) at the Saxon State Opera, as steersman (The Flying Dutchman) in Savonlinna, as Fenton (Falstaff) at the Finish National Opera, as Narraboth (Salome) in Geneva and as Ferrando (Cosi fan tutte) in Paris. In 2010 he performed the part of Adam at the premiere of Peter Eötvös' «Tragödie des Teufels» at the Bavarian State Opera. He works at the Deutsche Oper am Rhein since 2009|10. There he played parts such as Belmonte (Die Entführung aus dem Serail), Ferrando and Hippolyt in Henzes «Phaedra». In 2013|14 he performed the part of Tammu (Babylon) at the Bavarian State Opera.
