The Wiesbaden baritone Johannes Hill received his first musical training in the Wiesbaden Boys' Choir, where he already took on solo parts as a boy. In 2013 Johannes Hill was a scholarship holder of the Richard-Wagner-Verband Wiesbaden. In 2015 he successfully completed his diploma in singing at the Hochschule für Musik Mainz with Hans Christoph Begemann. Master classes with Rudolf Piernay, Helmuth Rilling, Ton Koopman, Andreas Scholl and Michael Hofstetter complete his education. As a soloist in oratorio repertoire he is in great demand throughout Germany. A further focus, in the busy concert life, is ensemble singing. Johannes Hill is a member of several ensembles in Germany, including the Kammerchor Stuttgart conducted by Frieder Bernius.
