The Basel native soprano Jessica Jans studied at the conservatories in Basel and Detmold vocals and vocal pedagogy and deepened her knowledge of historical performances of early music. Regular encounters with Margreet Honig, Emma Kirkby and Roswitha Müller provide valuable impulses to her. She has a broad repertoire as a soloist, from early baroque music up to contemporary classicals music. She regularly performs with professional vocal ensembles such as the Basler Madrigalisten, origen Vocal, Kammerchor Stuttgart and ChorWerk Ruhr.
