studied vocals with H.-J. Rickenbacher and W. Güra. Apart from his soloist activities as a concert singer at home and abroad, he is part of several professional vocal ensembles. Since 2005 he leads the award-winning vocal ensemble larynx. He had guest performances at the theatres of Basel, Berne and Lucerne. He is an integral part of the Origen Ensemble since 2005. He won the Franz Schubert Lied competition and was awarded the Migros cooperative study prize, the Friedl Wald foundation study prize and the recognition award of the Basel orchestra society.
