FRANCESCA DELL'ARIA
Francesca Dell'Aria comes from Italy. She received her training at the Elmhurst School and the Binningham Royal Ballet. After an engagement with the Slovak National Ballet, she was a member of the Bavarian State Ballet from 2010 to 2014. She has belonged to the Ballett Zürich since the 2014/15 season and has appeared in choreographies by William Forsythe (New Sleep, workwithinwork, In the middle), Jiří Kylián (Gods and Dogs, Falling Angels), George Balanchine, Hans van Manen (Kammerballett), Jacopo Godani, Douglas Lee, Edward Clug, Marco Goecke (Nijinski) and Crystal Pile. She also appeared in the title role of Christian Spuck's «Anna Karenina» and as Myrtha in Patrice Bart's «Giselle». She was awarded with the «Tanzpreis der Freunde des Balletts Zürich» in 2019.
At the Origen Festival she was dancing in Craig Davidson's «Existentia» (2020).
