DANIEL ISSA
Born in Brazil, he initially graduated from his architectural studies at the University of São Paulo, before he moved to Switzerland to study at the schola Contrum Basiliensis and the Conservatory Lucerne. Daniel Issa performed at the theatre Basel (The Fairy Queen), the Opera in Bayreuth (Céphale et Procris) and at the Festival di Musica Antica di Salerno (Il Marito Giocatore). He also performed in contemporary pieces such as «Un Tango pour Monsieur Lautrec» by Jorge Zulueta or «Mord im Sankt Johann» by Andreas Plüger. His concert activities led him through many European countries as well as Brazil and China. His repertoire ranges from Monteverdis «Marienvesper» and the passion concerts by Bach to Strawinskys «Les Noches». Several CD-recordings bear witness of his artistic work.
