ALEJANDRO MARCO-BUHRMESTER
began studying vocals in 1984 at the conservatory in Berne. 1987 he switsched to the opera studio at the Music Academy Basel and received his first engagements at the theatre Biel. Engagements at the Aalto Theatre Essen, the theatre Dortmund and at the Komische Opera in Berlin. Marco-Buhlmester is an independent singer since 1999. After his Beyreuth-Debut in 2001 where he played the part of Konrad Nachtigall in «Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg» he was repeatedly invited to the Wagner-Festival to sing amongst other things the part of Amfortas (Pasifal). Apart frim Wagner pieces which have led him to the operas of Frankfurt, Cologne, Madrid, Amsterdam, Paris and Tokyo, he also focuses on the Italian and French and the concert
